Job summary

LocumTenens.com seeks a Physician Assistant to provide vascular surgery coverage in a hospital on-site in Upstate New York. The position is a day shift with call and requires EPIC EMR documentation.

Clinicians will first assist on vascular surgery cases for a five-surgeon team and provide floor coverage with a census of 15–20 patients and 7–8 OR cases daily. Must hold prescriptive authority and board certification.

Qualifications

• Board certification is required for the clinician.
• Prescriptive authority required to practice.
• First assisting on vascular surgery cases is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide vascular surgery coverage in inpatient and operating room settings.
• First assist on cases for a team of five surgeons and floor coverage.
• Complete clinical documentation using the EPIC EMR system.
