Job summary

Methodist Healthcare, the largest provider of cardiovascular services in South Texas, is recruiting a vascular surgeon to join our growing program in San Antonio, Texas. Board certified or board eligible in vascular surgery with experience in percutaneous and endovascular treatments is preferred.

Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible in vascular surgery.
• Experience with percutaneous and endovascular treatment of peripheral arterial disease.
• Open vascular surgical procedures and endovascular treatment of aortic aneurysms.
• Management of extra-cranial carotid disease.
• VNUS closure procedures a plus; proficiency with wires and catheters.
• Built-in referral base through partnership with large cardiovascular practices.
• Ability to primarily focus practice at one Methodist hospital.
• 2-3 years of experience required.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
• Eligible for an unrestricted medical licensure in Texas required.
