The PA must maintain credentials, stay current with continuing medical education, and participate in practice development as a practitioner, researcher, and consultant for diverse patient

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited PA program (MPAS, MHS, or MMS).
• PA certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Current Ohio licensure and ACLS certification.
• Certificate to Prescribe current and maintained at all times.
• Minimum of three years of related experience as a PA.
• Excellent communication skills with both patients and colleagues are essential.
• Computer literacy including Excel, Word and Outlook; EMR experience, preferably EPIC.
• Experience with, and a strong surgery background will be a great advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing patient care and medical history taking.
• Assess medical conditions and interpret medical findings.
• Maintain quality assurance and quality control standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues to ensure excellent patient experience.
• React calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
