Albany Medical Center is seeking a full-time Vascular Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the busy vascular surgery team at the Downtown Campus in Albany, NY. The role emphasizes outpatient care and collaboration with a multidisciplinary vascular team.

Responsibilities include managing new patient evaluations, ordering tests, wound care, and follow-up after procedures. Strong emphasis on patient-centered care and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• License as NP or PA in New York State.
• Master's degree in NP or PA program.
• DEA certification.
• National Board certification.
• ATLS and BLS certifications.
• Familiarity with Epic EMR.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage vascular surgery patients in outpatient settings.
• Perform clinic-based procedures and wound care.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and manage follow-up.
• Coordinate care with vascular team and other departments.
• Support telephone triage and outpatient follow-up.
• Provide post-procedure and chronic vascular disease care.
• Conduct annual ultrasound and imaging evaluations.
