Job summary

Vohra is seeking a vascular surgeon to join the wound care team in the Providence area. The role focuses on bedside wound management across post-acute care settings, with weekly rounds and visits to multiple facilities within a 40–60 mile radius.

The position offers no nights, no calls and no weekend duties, with full-time 4–5 days per week or part-time minimum 3 days. Onboarding includes paid training and a 6‑month wound care fellowship.

Qualifications

• Wound care expertise and post-acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver wound management at the bedside in post-acute care settings.

• Visit 2–3 facilities per day; treat 20–30 patients daily.
• Utilize real-time documentation with proprietary wound-specific EMR.
• Participate in onboarding training and a 6‑month wound care fellowship.

Become an expert in wound management, learn from highly qualified wound‑certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors. Utilize cutting‑edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities.

Practice Overview

• Full‑time work: Monday – Friday (7 a.m. – 4 p.m.) or part‑time available.
• No call / No weekend clinical responsibilities.
• Physicians deliver modern wound management at the bedside in the post‑acute care setting: Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long‑Term Acute Care Hospitals.
• Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Part‑time role is a minimum of 3 days per week. The full‑time role is 4–5 days per week.
• This is a mobile practice: physicians visit facilities in a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location.
• Physicians visit 2–3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20–30 patients per day.
• Clinical documentation is at the point of care, in real‑time during clinical rounds, using our proprietary wound‑specific EMR.
• Paid training is provided during onboarding plus a 6‑month wound care fellowship.
• W2 employment contract (no work visa sponsorship is available).
• W2 physicians earn an average of $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30‑hour work week (part‑time opportunities available).
