Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking a Board-Certified Vascular Surgeon for a full-time role in Rockport, Maine. The position balances surgical and office-based procedures within a collaborative team, supporting vascular care delivery in the Midcoast region.

The ideal candidate will perform a broad spectrum of vascular procedures, maintain high-quality patient care, and work closely with primary care, cardiology, radiology, and hospital teams as part of MaineHealth Vascular Surgery.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with board certification in Vascular Surgery
• Completion of an accredited Vascular Surgery fellowship
• Eligible for Maine medical licensure
• Strong clinical and procedural competency across open and endovascular vascular surgery
• Commitment to collaborative, patient-centered care

Responsibilities

• Perform and supervise open and endovascular vascular procedures as part of a busy practice
• Collaborate with PCPs, cardiologists, radiologists, and hospital teams to coordinate patient care
• Provide outpatient vascular consultation and follow-up in a collaborative setting
• Manage complex vascular cases including aneurysm repairs and limb ischemia
• Participate in call coverage during daytime and overnight shifts in a team-based model
