Job summary

The Physician will participate in budgeting, staff supervision and recruitment, quality improvement, utilization management, teaching, and after-hours coverage as needed, supporting hospital goals and community health.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional services to the hospital’s patient population, including assessment, treatment and management of care.
• Ensure continuity of care for patients assigned to Physician.
• Collaborate with Hospital administrators on budgets, capital expenditures, strategic planning and marketing.
• Assist with selection, supervision and evaluation of Practice Location staff.
• Assist in recruitment of additional physicians to the area served by the Hospital.
• Participate in utilization management, quality improvement and patient satisfaction programs.
• Engage in teaching and community benefit programs as requested.
• Participate in after-hours and on-call coverage as needed.
