Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking a civilian Vascular Surgeon for the VA Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre, PA. The role focuses on outpatient vascular services with Monday–Friday hours and involves weekend call.

Independent contractor status with competitive compensation, OR and clinic hours listed, and required board certification, active DEA, BLS/ACLS, and state license. Located near the Pocono Mountains with a family-friendly community and easy access to major cities.

Qualifications

• Board certification in vascular surgery.

• Active state medical license.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient vascular surgery services Monday–Friday.
• Participate in weekend call and call back duties.
• Operate as an independent contractor at the VA Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre, PA.
• Clinic hours 8:00 am–4:30 pm; OR team hours 7:30 am–3:30 pm.

Position Overview

• Outpatient Services Monday thru Friday
• Weekend Call and Call Back
• Independent Contractor status
• Competitive Compensation
• Clinic Hours Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
• VA Business Hours: Regularly scheduled business hours for outpatient services are Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm;
• Operating Room (OR) Team Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 3:30 pm.
• Clinical hours for outpatient services or surgery shall comprise the 8.5 hour days

Job Requirements

• Board Certified
• Active DEA
• BLS and ACLS
• Any Active State License
