Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Vascular Surgeon, you will join an established and expanding surgical team at Mercy Medical Group, a CommonSpirit Health affiliate, directly impacting patient health at Mercy General Hospital in Sacramento, CA. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to practice full-spectrum vascular surgery, supported by strong referral relationships across a large multispecialty network, within a recognized leader in cardiovascular and vascular care.

Every day you will perform a comprehensive range of open and endovascular procedures, utilizing your expertise to diagnose and treat complex vascular conditions. You will leverage full surgical privileges at Mercy General Hospital, collaborating with a dedicated team to provide advanced care and improve patient outcomes. This employed model provides the stability and resources of a large, mission‑driven health system, fostering a supportive environment for your surgical practice.

To be successful in this role, you will be a Board Certified or Board Eligible Vascular Surgeon with a proven track record in both traditional open and modern endovascular techniques. You should possess strong clinical acumen, excellent surgical skills, and a collaborative spirit to thrive within a multispecialty group environment.

Job Requirements

Required:

  • MD or DO degree, Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible in Internal Medicine (ABMS or AOA)
  • Active California medical license (or ability to obtain)
  • DEA certification
