Saint Joseph Medical Group in Lexington, KY is seeking a Fellowship-trained, Board Certified/Board Eligible Vascular Surgeon to provide comprehensive vascular surgical care in the Lexington area. The role includes diagnosing and treating arterial and venous diseases, performing procedures, and coordinating pre- and post-operative care with a multidisciplinary team.

• Fellowship-trained vascular surgeon.
• Board-certified or board-eligible.
• Active or eligible Kentucky medical license.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat arterial and venous diseases including peripheral arterial disease, aortic aneurysms, carotid disease, DVT, varicose veins, and venous insufficiency.
• Perform a variety of vascular surgical procedures and manage all aspects of patient care from initial consult to post-operative follow-up.
• Provide comprehensive wound care for complex vascular wounds and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As ourFellowship-trained, Board Certified/Board Eligible Vascular Surgeon, you will helppatients in Lexington, KY, and the surrounding areareceive comprehensive vascular surgical careso they canachieve excellent patient care, quality outcomes, and superior patient satisfaction within a community dedicated to clinical excellence and innovation.

Every day, you willdiagnose and treat a wide range of arterial and venous diseases, including peripheral arterial disease, aortic aneurysms, carotid artery disease, deep vein thrombosis, varicose veins, and venous insufficiency. You will be expected toperform a variety of surgical proceduresandmanage all aspects of patient care, from initial consultation and diagnosis through pre-operative workup, surgical intervention, and post-operative follow-up. In this role, you will alsoprovide comprehensive wound care for complex vascular-related woundsandcollaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including cardiologists, primary care physicians, and other specialists to ensure integrated patient care.
