Job summary

A national wound care group is looking for a part-time Vascular Surgeon in Laredo, TX. The role offers autonomy, flexibility, and a focus on wound management without weekend responsibilities. Physicians will provide bedside care in skilled nursing facilities, treat up to 30 patients daily, and participate in weekly rounds. Requirements

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.

Practice Overview

• Full‑time work: Monday—Friday (7 a.m.–4 p.m.) or part time available.
• No call / No weekend clinical responsibilities.
• Physicians deliver modern wound management at the bedside in the post‑acute care setting: skilled nursing facilities and long‑term acute care hospitals.
• Our physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Part‑time role is a minimum of 3 days per week; full‑time role is 4–5 days per week.
• This is a mobile practice: physicians visit facilities in a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location.
• Our physicians visit 2–3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20–30 patients per day.
• Clinical documentation is at point of care, in real‑time during clinical rounds, using our proprietary wound‑specific EMR.
• Paid training is provided during onboarding plus a 6‑month wound care fellowship.
• W2 employment contract (no work visa sponsorship available).
