Job summary

WellSpan Health in Pennsylvania is seeking a board-certified vascular surgeon to join the West Region vascular team. The role includes building a rewarding and autonomous vascular program across Chambersburg Hospital and Gettysburg Hospital.

You will perform procedures and surgeries in multiple facilities, with a focus on work-life balance, flexible scheduling (full-time, part-time, PRN), and collaboration with the WellSpan York Vascular Team on complex cases.

• Board-certified vascular surgeon with leadership capabilities.
• Experience building and leading autonomous vascular surgery programs.
• Ability to collaborate across hospitals and teams to support patient care.

Responsibilities

• Join WellSpan West Vascular Surgery team.
• Build and lead a rewarding vascular surgery program in the West Region.
• Support vascular services at Chambersburg and Gettysburg Hospitals.
• Perform procedures and surgeries in OR, cath labs, or ambulatory centers.
• Maintain a healthy work-life balance with good hours and on-call schedule.

What you can expect at your practice:

• WellSpan is actively recruiting a skilled and accomplished vascular surgeon to become part of the WellSpan West Vascular Surgery team.
• This position will have the opportunity to provide insights and strategies that will empower them to build a rewarding and autonomous vascular surgery program in the West Region.
• This position offers the opportunity to support vascular services at Chambersburg Hospital, which has 274 licensed beds, and Gettysburg Hospital, which has 76 licensed beds. You will perform procedures and surgeries in one of our operating rooms, cath labs, or ambulatory surgery centers in the West Region.
• This position is designed to promote a healthy lifestyle balance with excellent hours and a reasonable on-call schedule.
• We offer full-time, part-time, and PRN options for flexible scheduling.
• Collaborate with WellSpan York Vascular Team and Hospital for complex cases/patients to help support our community and patient needs
