Job/Practice Description

• Establish a comprehensive, high‑quality community vascular program within a university‑healthcare system.
• Provide advanced vascular care and shape the future of cardiovascular services in NW Ohio.
• Lead expansion by recruiting additional vascular surgeons and advanced practice providers by end of 2027.
• Manage a full spectrum of open and endovascular cases, including aneurysmal disease, carotid disease, hemodialysis access, peripheral vascular disease, and limb salvage.
• Utilize medications, lifestyle changes, and non‑surgical interventions for condition management.
• Cover call with ten night/weekend shifts per month.
• Schedule includes 2 clinic days and 3 procedural days per week.
• Supervise advanced practitioners.
• Educate patients and promote wellness, prevention, and early detection through educational materials and programs.
• Maintain responsive, open communication with referring physicians.
• Participate in departmental, college, and institutional service activities.
• Serve as preceptor for residents, fellows, medical students, and allied health staff.
• Opportunity for faculty track appointments (assistant/associate professor) for those whose primary focus is teaching and research.
