Job summary

University Hospitals Pain Management seeks an experienced vascular technologist to perform non-invasive vascular testing across venous and arterial duplex exams, PVRs, and carotid studies. The role may require travel to various outpatient health centers and collaboration on research projects.

Candidate must maintain active RVT/VT status and meet IAC continuing education requirements, contributing to quality meetings and department education efforts.

• Performs non-invasive vascular testing including venous/arterial duplex, PVRs with/without exercise, venous insufficiency studies, and carotid duplex.

Job description

A Brief Overview

This position serves as an experienced vascular technologist and is required to perform all aspects of non-invasive vascular testing including but not limited to; Venous insufficiency studies, PVRs w/and w/out ex, renal and mesenteric duplex, AVF and AVG, BPG, Arterial duplex, venous duplex, venous mappings, and carotid duplex. This position may also require traveling to any of our many out-patients Health centers. Assists in education of medical staff and students, collaborate with other departments with participation in research projects. Participate in our monthly system quality meetings. Assist with billing and coding reconciliation, Must maintain active RVT/VT status, meet or exceeds IAC continuing education requirements.
