Job summary

University Hospitals Pain Management seeks an experienced vascular technologist to perform all aspects of non-invasive vascular testing, including venous insufficiency, PVRs, renal/mesenteric duplex, AVF/AVG, arterial/venous/ carotid duplex, and venous mappings. Travel to out-patient health centers may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience performing non-invasive vascular testing.
• Maintains RVT/VT status and meets IAC CE requirements.
• Ability to educate medical staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Perform venous and arterial duplex studies including PVRs and AVF/AVG.
• Travel to outpatient health centers as needed.
• Support billing and coding reconciliation.
• Participate in monthly system quality meetings and PHI compliance.

Job description

A Brief Overview

This position serves as an experienced vascular technologist and is required to perform all aspects of non-invasive vascular testing including but not limited to; Venous insufficiency studies, PVRs w/and w/out ex, renal and mesenteric duplex, AVF and AVG, BPG, Arterial duplex, venous duplex, venous mappings, and carotid duplex. This position may also require traveling to any of our many out-patients Health centers. Assists in education of medical staff and students, collaborate with other departments with participation in research projects. Participate in our monthly system quality meetings. Assist with billing and coding reconciliation, Must maintain active RVT/VT status, meet or exceeds IAC continuing education requirements.
