Job summary

Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, OR seeks a Vascular Sonographer for a relief/flex/resource position. The role performs vascular ultrasound studies across abdominal, carotid, venous Doppler and related procedures within Diagnostics Imaging.

Candidates must have graduated from an approved diagnostic medical sonography program and be ARDMS RVT registered within 12 months, with Oregon imaging licensure and CPR. BLS within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved diagnostic medical sonography program; ARDMS RVT within 12 months.
• Oregon Board of Medical Imaging licensure and CPR current.
• BLS within 30 days of hire; ARDMS RVT registered.

Responsibilities

• Perform all phases of vascular sonography including abdominal, carotid and venous Doppler.
• Prepare patients with clear communication; obtain high-quality images.
• Maintain accurate documentation and PACS data entry.
• Assist physicians in invasive or specialized procedures as directed.
