Job summary

USA Clinics Group in Cary, NC is seeking a Vascular Sonographer to perform thorough vascular ultrasound examinations focused on the lower extremities, while delivering an outstanding patient experience. This full-time role requires RVT, RVS, or RPhS credentials (or eligibility within 90 days) and includes out-of-state training with travel covered by the company.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Vascular Ultrasound program.
• Current RVT, RVS, or RPhS credential, or eligibility to obtain certification within 90 days.
• Experience with venous insufficiency, reflux, venous mapping, and venous duplex studies preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a patient-focused healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular ultrasound studies including venous insufficiency, venous reflux, venous mapping, and venous duplex examinations.
• Perform additional vascular imaging studies such as carotid, arterial duplex, ABI, DVT, and PVR testing.
• Independently perform and document ultrasound examinations while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
• Support patient care within a vein clinic, vascular laboratory, or related vascular imaging environment.
• Utilize PACS and EMR systems to document studies, manage images, and support clinical workflow.
• Apply broad sonography knowledge including OB/GYN and abdominal when appropriate.
