Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the direction of physicians following established protocols.
• Deliver evidence-based care appropriate to the age population served.
• Provide comprehensive direct patient care, including assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing evaluation.
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Order, interpret, and incorporate laboratory, respiratory, and radiology results into patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, hospitalization, and discharge planning.
• Maintain professional competencies and contribute to nursing education through mentorship.
