Job summary

United Vein & Vascular Centers is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) for the North Chicago, IL area. The role focuses on consultations, evaluations, and ongoing care for vascular conditions, working closely with physicians.

Requirements include 2+ years in clinical vascular settings, NP/PA degree with active state license, and national certification. Competitive compensation and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of vascular care experience in inpatient, outpatient, or surgical settings.
• Vascular experience required; procedural experience is a plus.
• Degree from an accredited NP or PA program; active license in the state.
• National certification (AANP/ANCC for NP; NCCPA for PA).
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; DEA license or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage vascular conditions such as venous insufficiency, PAD.
• Develop and implement patient-specific treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families on vascular conditions and care plans.
• Collaborate with supervising physicians for comprehensive care.
• Respond to patient inquiries, follow-ups, and emergencies.
• Document care in EMR and HIPAA compliance.
