Job summary

Renown Health in Reno, NV is seeking a Vascular Neurologist to evaluate and treat urgent neurological conditions, including stroke and intracranial hemorrhage. This role includes Neuro ICU consultations and emergency department coverage.

The ideal candidate holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree; board certification in Neurology and Vascular Neurology is required. Strong leadership skills and the ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain a current and valid State of Nevada MD or DO license.
• Board-Eligible or Board-Certified in Neurology and Vascular Neurology.
• Experience in stroke medicine/vascular neurology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats acute urgent and emergent neurological conditions.
• Conducts Neuro ICU consultations and stroke consultations.
• Participates in physician governance meetings and management decisions.
