Royal Surgical Associates is seeking a DO/MD in vascular neurology to join our regional medical center in Altoona, PA. The role includes inpatient rounding, ED consults, stroke code responses, and stroke coverage 7 days each month.

On-call coverage runs 7:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with weekend rounding on Saturday and Sunday mornings. The successful candidate will collaborate with hospitalists and may place some orders as clinically appropriate.

Competenze

• Must have completed a vascular neurology fellowship.
• Recent fellowship graduates will be considered.

Mansioni

• Provide vascular neurology coverage for 7 days per month (Mon–Sun).
• Stroke on-call coverage from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Mon–Fri.
• Weekend rounding on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
• Perform inpatient rounding on up to 20 patients in the morning.
• Handle inpatient and ED consults and respond to stroke codes.
• Round on stroke patients on weekends.
• Collaborate with hospitalists, placing some orders when appropriate.
