The Division of Cerebrovascular Diseases led by Colum Amory, MD, MPH, at the Department of Neurology, Hackensack University Medical Center (HUMC), a major academic medical center within the Hackensack Meridian Health network (HMH), seeks a full time Vascular Neurologist to join its Joint Commission certified Comprehensive Stroke Center. The successful candidate will have completed a residency in Neurology and an ACGME accredited fellowship in Vascular Neurology.
HUMC serves as one of the three principal teaching hospitals for Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine and the HMH network. The stroke service receives approximately 900 annual admissions, with many transferred from affiliated spoke Primary Stroke Centers. The stroke unit is staffed by APNs 24/7, collaborating with neurosurgeons and interventional neuroradiologists for large vessel occlusion, intracerebral hemorrhage, and subarachnoid hemorrhage cases. Additionally, the neurocritical care program offers a fully staffed, closed unit, and night call is supported by telemedicine. The department provides outpatient stroke clinics and includes teaching responsibilities for medical students, residents, and other practitioners.

The posted rate of pay is a reasonably good faith estimate of the minimum base pay for this role at the time of posting in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Act and does not reflect the full value of our market-competitive total rewards package.
