Job summary

Summa Health Medical Group in Akron, Ohio seeks an inpatient Stroke Neurologist to join our Neuroscience Institute on a flexible 7-on/7-off block schedule for 23 weeks per year.

There is opportunity for Stroke Directorship for qualified candidates, with a collaborative, multidisciplinary team and access to extensive in-house imaging, diagnostics, and Epic EMR.

Qualifications

• Board certification and/or eligibility in Neurology.
• Board certification and/or eligibility in Vascular Neurology.
• Current unrestricted license or ability to obtain Ohio license.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient Stroke Neurologist covering acute stroke care.
• Collaborate with Neurosurgery, Neurocritical Care, Endovascular and Critical Care teams.
• Participate in academic, research and program development initiatives.

Summa Health Medical Group is seeking an inpatient Stroke Neurologist to join our nationally recognized Neuroscience Institute in Akron, Ohio. The position offers inpatient coverage on a flexible 7-on/7-off block schedule for 23 weeks per year, which promotes both work-life balance and continuity of care. There is opportunity for Stroke Directorship for qualified candidates.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role within a highly integrated, multidisciplinary team. The selected provider will work in close collaboration alongside Neurosurgery, Neurocritical Care, Endovascular, and Critical Care Trauma programs to ensure seamless, coordinated care from emergency intervention through recovery.
