Sanford Health in Sioux Falls, SD seeks a Radiologic Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic images using interventional equipment, while minimizing exposure and adhering to safety policies. The role includes supporting student education and maintaining patient confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.

Requires AMA-approved education, ARRT registration, and BLS within six weeks. Opportunities for certified advancement in VI or CI are encouraged within 24 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA approved school is required.
• Minimum of one year experience as a staff radiologic technologist preferred.
• Registration through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
• If ND and performing imaging procedures, licensure through the North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (NDMIRT) Board is required.
• If SD and responsibilities in interventional radiology, encouraged to obtain VI certification within 24 months of hire.
• If duties in Cardiac Cath Lab, encouraged to obtain CI certification within 24 months of hire.
• BLS required within six weeks of employment and re-certification as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provides high quality images using specialized equipment and procedures.
• Maintains safety, quality control, and radiation protection standards.
• Develops understanding of patient status and ensures confidentiality.
• Schedules and performs diagnostic and interventional procedures in designated units.
• Educates Radiologic Technology students and supports training.
