This inpatient hospital maintains established clinical protocols and the infrastructure necessary to support on-site vascular and interventional radiology coverage. The facility serves a regional patient population and is structured to accommodate locum tenens clinicians delivering a full scope of interventional radiology services. Clinical operations are conducted entirely on-site in support of the interventional radiology service line.
Murfreesboro is located approximately 34 miles south of Nashville along I-24 and is home to Middle Tennessee State University. The area offers a range of attractions including Stones River National Battlefield, Cannonsburgh Village, and the Murfreesboro Greenway System with miles of trails and boardwalks. Clinicians on assignment may also explore interactive family experiences at the Discovery Center, outdoor activities at Go USA Fun Park, and animal encounters at nearby farms, alongside historic sites and a vibrant arts and culture scene.
Clinicians will provide 100% on-site inpatient interventional radiology coverage during day shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on a 7 on 7 off schedule, with weeknight and weekend call responsibilities. Procedural responsibilities include angiography, angioplasty, stents, embolization, biopsies, drainages, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and related IR procedures, with an expected volume of 8-12 procedures per shift. All coverage is delivered entirely on-site, and board certification is required for this locum tenens assignment.
