Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA seeks a Registered Nurse Unit Coordinator for the Vascular Stepdown/IMCU (9 Kaufman). This full-time role (36 hrs/week) supports a 24-bed unit with a patient mix including vascular surgery, telemetry, and transplant patients; RN-to-patient ratio 1:4.

You will provide clinical leadership, coordinate care, and help advance safety and quality initiatives. The position requires a BSN/MSN, RN license, and BLS within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Master of Science in Nursing required.
• Registered nurse license required.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• 18 months RN experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership for the delivery of nursing care in the IMCU.
• Lead safety and quality initiatives within the department.
