Job summary

Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) seeks a Vascular Sonographer II to perform high-quality vascular sonography exams under minimal supervision and to prepare detailed preliminary reports for reading Vascular Surgeons. The role includes mentoring students and staff while supporting departmental tasks and maintaining professional standards.

Minimum 2 years vascular-specific experience, ARDMS RVT or CCI RVS certification, and BLS are required.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited Vascular Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, or Ultrasonography program is preferred.
  • Equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of two years of vascular-specific scanning experience.
  • Active membership in a related professional organization such as SDMS or SVU is required.
  • Certification by ARDMS RVT or CCI RVS is required prior to hire.
  • Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Identify anatomic variants and pathologies and report exam findings.
  • Determine if additional imaging is necessary based on findings and create detailed preliminary reports.
  • Orient and mentor students, fellows, and new staff members.
  • Assist with scheduling, paging schedule maintenance, revenue reconciliation, and accreditation documentation.
