Job summary

HCA Florida Largo Hospital is seeking an Echo Vascular Technician to join the Vascular Lab on a full-time basis. The role involves performing non-invasive echocardiography and preparing results for physician review, in a dedicated team serving West Florida.

The candidate should graduate from a Vocational/Technical Echocardiogram program and hold RVT and BLS certifications, with Meditech knowledge and 1–3 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Vocational/Technical School program for Echocardiogram Technicians.
• RVT certification.
• BLS certification.
• Meditech knowledge.
• 1 to 3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-invasive procedures, mount findings and prepare for physician review.
• Complete paperwork in the Meditech & PACS systems.
• Maintain knowledge and support hospital objectives.
• Recognize and respond to life-threatening situations.
• Perform procedures including M-Mode, 2-D, TEE, Doppler, Color-Flow, Stress Echo, ECGs, Holter monitoring.
