• Maintain sterile field and equipment safety.
• Travel to facilities within designated service area as assigned.

We are currently seeking motivated and experienced LPNs to join our growing team in the Fayetteville, NC area, based at a large medical center. As a Vascular Access Technician, you will support our in-house vascular access team at a large medical center. You will be an independent member of an organized, professional team.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up of equipment and supplies necessary for indicated procedure based on directions provided by Vascular Access Clinician.
• Assists with positioning patient in bed for procedure and providing comfort during procedure.
• Closely watch procedural clinician to ensure all steps of procedure are completed.
• Maintains equipment and supplies in a safe and conscientious manner.
• Assists with breakdown of sterile field.
• Understands OSHA Exposure protocol and handles bodily fluids (i.e. blood) appropriately.
• Travel to facilities throughout designated service areas as assigned by the Administrator on Call.
• Additional work within scope of license as needed.

Requirements

• Active NC CNA I or II, Certified Medical Assistant, Paramedic, or EMT license; or a Surgical Technician certificate, in good standing.
• Maintain HIPAA/HITECH compliance with all activities.
• Completion of drug screen and background check.
• Adherence to Company policies and procedures.
• Lift and move 50lbs repetitively.
• Have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license, may include driving distances of over 60 miles to client satellite facility.
• Complete all required modules, credentialing paperwork, and skills assessment.

Pay Range

$18.00 to $20.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
