Main Line Health seeks a Vascular Access Technician at Riddle Hospital to perform vascular access and blood specimen collection by venipuncture and micro-collection techniques for patients of all ages. You will collaborate with a interdisciplinary team to ensure accurate lab analysis and exceptional patient care.

The role offers tuition reimbursement up to $6,000 per year, 20 hours per week on day shift with weekend/holiday rotation, and opportunities for growth within a supportive healthcare

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy experience required.
• Experience in patient care is required.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to communicate sufficiently in English to perform job duties.
• Graduation from high school; some college preferred.

Responsabilités

• Obtain vascular access and blood specimens on patients of all ages by venipuncture and micro-collection techniques.
• Perform nursing-related duties related to vascular access according to unit protocols.

Position:

Vascular Access Technician

Shift:

20 hours per week, Day shift 6:00am- 1:30pm. Weekend and holidays rotational.

Experience:

Phlebotomy experience required Experience working in patient care is required

Ability to perform basic math skills.

Ability to communicate sufficiently in English to perform job duties

Education:

Graduation from high school; some college preferred

Licensures/Certifications:

Phlebotomy Certification preferred.

BLS Healthcare Provider preferred on hire / required prior to completion of unit orientation Successful completion of VAT orientation and key competencies.
