Job summary

Cantex is seeking a Vascular Access Registered Nurse (RN) to provide vascular access services across the Houston/Beaumont market. The role performs PIV, Midline, and PICC insertions with a focus on patient care, accurate documentation, and regulatory compliance.

The RN will act as the primary vascular access resource for assigned facilities, ensuring timely, efficient, and high-quality service delivery while collaborating with nursing staff, providers, and leadership.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Texas RN license.
• Competency in Peripheral IV, Midline, and PICC placements.
• Experience with ultrasound-guided vascular access.
• Strong documentation and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform Peripheral IV (PIV), Midline, and PICC insertions.
• Assess patients to determine vascular access needs.
• Utilize ultrasound technology when indicated.
• Follow infection prevention, sterile technique, and safety standards.
• Collaborate with facility staff and leadership.
• Maintain professional communication with assigned facilities.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide timely response to service requests.
• Maintain reliable attendance and communicate scheduling needs.
