Cantex Continuing Care Network seeks a Vascular Access Registered Nurse to provide vascular access services across the Houston/Beaumont market for Advanced Primary Care Practice, an ancillary department. The role performs PIV, Midline, and PICC insertions with clinical documentation and regulatory compliance.

The position supports high-quality patient care, with ultrasound guidance as needed, and requires strong assessment, documentation, and collaboration with staff.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Texas RN license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Demonstrated competency in Peripheral IV, Midline, and PICC placement.
• Experience with ultrasound-guided vascular access.

Responsibilities

• Perform Peripheral IV (PIV), Midline, and PICC insertions.
• Assess patients to determine vascular access needs.
• Utilize ultrasound technology when clinically indicated.
• Follow infection prevention, sterile technique, and safety standards.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, medical providers, and leadership.
• Maintain professional communication with facilities.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide timely responses to vascular access service requests.
