Job summary

Methodist Southwest Medical Center in Dallas is seeking a Vascular Access RN for PRN shifts to deliver high-level nursing care to assigned patients using the nursing process. The Vascular Access RN demonstrates expanded clinical expertise appropriate to the patient population and procedures served.

You will manage PICC/mid-line catheters, collaborate with care teams, and contribute to patient experience and safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN or MSN degree Preferred.
• Current Certification in PICC or Mid-line catheters
• Current CPR certification required.
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so required.
• Work experience: 5 or more years RN experience. At least 2 years IV management preferred

The Vascular Access RN demonstrates increased knowledge and has an expanded base of clinical expertise appropriate to the patient population and special procedures served.

Your Job Requirements:
