Job summary

MultiCare Auburn Medical Center is seeking a Vascular Access RN to join our hospital-based team, seeing patients at both Auburn and Covington Medical Centers. This per diem role offers day shift and flexible scheduling to fit professional and personal commitments.

As an RN, you will deliver skilled nursing care using the nursing process, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and support quality improvement initiatives while practicing in a trusted community hospital.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Washington state or MLS endorsement.
• BSN degree preferred; hospital nursing experience valued.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• ACLS, NALS, PALS, TNCC or NRP certifications may be required by unit.
• Minimum of one year acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating.
• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process per policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality, patient experience and costs.
• Foster a learning environment for patients, families and staff.
• Advocate for ethical, holistic care respecting diverse backgrounds.
