Cantex is seeking a Vascular Access Registered Nurse to deliver vascular access services across the Houston/Beaumont market. You will perform PIV, Midline, and PICC insertions, ensuring quality patient care, accurate documentation, and regulatory compliance.

The role requires BLS certification and experience with ultrasound-guided vascular access, collaborating with facility staff and leadership to ensure timely service delivery and proactive communication.

Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license is required.
• Experience with Peripheral IV, Midline, and PICC placements preferred.
• Ultrasound-guided vascular access and sterile technique are essential.

Responsibilities

The Vascular Access Registered Nurse (RN) provides vascular access services across the Houston/Beaumont market for Advanced Primary Care Practice, an ancillary department of Cantex. This role performs Peripheral IV (PIV), Midline, and PICC insertions while ensuring exceptional patient care, accurate clinical documentation, and full regulatory compliance. The Vascular Access RN serves as the primary vascular access resource for assigned facilities and ensures timely, efficient, and high- quality service delivery.

The Vascular Access RN serves as the primary vascular access resource for assigned facilities and ensures timely, efficient, and high- quality service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Perform Peripheral IV (PIV), Midline, and PICC insertions
• Assess patients to determine appropriate vascular access needs
• Utilize ultrasound technology when clinically indicated
• Follow all infection prevention, sterile technique, and safety standards
• Collaborate with facility nursing staff, medical providers, and leadership
• Maintain professional communication with assigned facilities
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Provide timely response to vascular access service requests
• Maintain reliable attendance and communicate scheduling needs proactively

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Texas RN license
• Demonstrated competency in Peripheral IV placement, Midline placement, & PICC placement.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience with ultrasound- guided vascular access
• Strong clinical assessment skills
• Strong documentation and organizational skills
