Oxford Public Schools Athletics is seeking a Varsity Winter Cheerleading Coach to lead and develop student-athletes, emphasizing skill, discipline, sportsmanship and teamwork. The coach reports to the Athletic Director and helps plan practice and game schedules, while ensuring equipment maintenance and safety compliance.

The role is after school/evening, requires a high school diploma and two years of coaching experience, plus CPR/AED/First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Two years of related coaching experience preferred.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Instructs and demonstrates skill sets for team achievement.
• Plans practice and game schedules with the Athletic Director.
• Maintains equipment and uniforms.
• Arranges transportation and overnight travel for events.
• Recommends purchases of uniforms and equipment.
• Maintains records and completes required paperwork.
• Ensures athletes are eligible and in good physical condition.
• Enforces sportsmanship and safety policies.
