Job summary

St. HOPE is seeking a Head Varsity Coach for the Sacramento High School Varsity Team. The role includes leadership and management responsibilities, ensuring the academic success, safety, and well-being of student-athletes.

The Head Coach will work closely with the Athletic Director and oversee assistant coaches, while teaching positive character traits and sportsmanship. A starting stipend of $1000 per season is offered for this position.

Qualifications

• Desire to teach/work at Sacramento High School preferred.
• Successful coaching experience is required.
• Ability to supervise personnel through previous leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure academic success and well-being of student-athletes.
• Teach and develop positive character traits and sportsmanship.
• Coordinate transportation and identify tournaments.
• Create and maintain a realistic budget.
• Develop a master schedule for team events.
