Job summary

Young World Physical Education is seeking a Varsity Softball Head Coach for the Spring Sports Season 2026-27. This part-time position requires effective communication with players and enforcement of athletic rules and policies. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and the ability to motivate young athletes.

This role emphasizes ensuring athlete safety and involves supervision during practices and games. Certification in CPR and first aid is preferred, and the starting date is immediate, aligning with the spring sports season.

Qualifications

• Must have documented evidence of organizational skills, knowledge, experience, preparation and aptitudes for the position.
• Certification in CPR and first aid preferred.
• Must be able to bend, twist, stoop, squat and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Directly responsible for all matters relative to program including player personnel and practice sessions.
• Ensure the safety and welfare of the athletes.
• Effectively communicate with players, officials, and community members.
