Pine-Richland School District seeks a Varsity Softball 2nd Assistant Coach in the Athletic Department for Spring 2026. The stipend is $3,833.00.

In this role, you will instruct student athletes, maintain season records, and plan regular practices. You will ensure safe facilities, enforce sportsmanship, and coordinate equipment and eligibility. Regular parent communication is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching high school athletics is preferred.
• Ability to guide student athletes toward skill development and sportsmanship.
• Willingness to collaborate with coaching staff and school staff.

Responsibilities

• Instruct student athletes in the skills necessary for achieving excellence in the sport.
• Maintain statistics, records, and results of the season.
• Plan and schedule a regular practice program.
• Oversee safety conditions of the practice facility when students are present.
• Enforce discipline and sportsmanship at all times.
• Coordinate eligibility criteria for interscholastic competition.
• Recommend equipment purchases and manage inventory.
• Develop conditioning programs with trainers.
• Coordinate transportation and field/gym usage when needed.
• Communicate regularly with parents of participating athletes.
