Montgomery County Public Schools seeks an enthusiastic and knowledgeable coach for the Varsity Girls Lacrosse team at Poolesville High School for FY27. This is a Temporary Part Time (TPT) position with wage details dependent on factors and current negotiated agreements; no benefits are included.

Applicants must be interviewed and hired by the principal or designee at the school. Coaches may be required to be qualified MCPS teachers or certified educators, and emergency coach options exist for

Qualifications

• Be an MCPS teacher or professional certified educator employed by MCPS.
• Complete/submit the on-line MCPS Application.
• Complete the MCPS course "Care and Prevention of Athletic Injuries, Coaching Fundamentals and CPR/AED" which is offered periodically through the MCPS Athletics Unit

Responsibilities

• Coach the Varsity Girls Lacrosse team for the season.
• Interviews conducted by the principal or designee at the school where the vacancy exists.
