Coaches should set high expectations and motivate, discipline, and manage communication with athletes, families, school personnel, and the athletic department.
Coaches must understand the physical and emotional stresses of competitive sport, maintain safety standards, and report unsafe environments.
Season begins Monday, November 2nd and ends Saturday, February 27th. Practices and games are Monday‑Friday after school with occasional Saturdays. Coaches must be available for the entire season.

Stipends are determined by salary structure that considers cumulative coaching experience, not seasons or number of teams. Years of experience are not sport‑specific. Coaching experience cannot include playing experience or summer camp. Non‑traditional varsity teams receive an additional 15 % compensation for consistent responsibilities outside traditional hours (3:45‑6:00 framework).
Any coach with multiple sports/coaching assignments in a calendar year counts each as one year of experience.
Coaches must submit their years of experience in the requested format prior to receiving a contract.
