Job summary

Amherst Central High School is seeking an Assistant Coach for varsity cheerleading for the 2026/2027 winter season. You will support the Head Coach in training activities, games and practices at Amherst Central High School.

This role requires NYS Coaching Certification, current CPR and First Aid certificates, relevant coaching experience, and the ability to respond to emergencies. The position runs from November 16, 2026 to February 26, 2027; the district notes rates are under negotiation.

Qualifications

• NYS Coaching Certification required.
• Current CPR Certification and First Aid Certificate.
• Coaching experience in cheerleading or similar programs.
• Ability to respond to emergencies during events and practices.
• Must be fingerprinted through NYS Department of Education.
