Job summary

BALDWIN M/H in Baldwin, Florida seeks an Athletic Coach – Varsity Assistant Boys Soccer for the 2026-2027 school year. The coach ensures program compliance with district policies and FHSA/NFHS rules while supporting student-athletes.

Responsibilities include enforcing safety and conditioning rules, coordinating tryouts and practices, supervising teams, reporting injuries, and tracking academics weekly. A high school diploma and the required coaching certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Experience: Previous experience preferred as an athletic coach or in coaching.
• Certifications: First Aid/CPR, NFHS, AED training, Florida Dept. of Education Certificate (Athletic Coaching).

Responsibilities

• Announce and enforce conditioning and safety rules for players.
• Attend mandatory coaching clinics and meetings.
• Coordinate exams and paperwork with DCPS Athletic Health forms.
• Conduct fundraising activities for the sport.
• Ensure supervision of players at all times (locker rooms, pickups).
• Enforce Title IX, FHSAA, and district rules.
• Monitor players' academic progress weekly.
• Plan practices and game duties for coaching staff.
• Report injuries to trainers and obtain doctor/parent approvals as needed.
• Support program improvement and participate in school activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
