Qualifications

• Valid NYS teaching certificate in Physical Education (K-12) or another classroom subject, a Professional Coaching Certificate, or eligibility for a Temporary Coaching License.
• First Aid, CPR, and AED certificates for coaches at appointment.
• Willingness to complete coursework prior to first year: Identification and Reporting of Child Abuse, SAVE, DASA, Concussion.
• Willingness to enroll in NFHS Coaching Certification within first two years.
• Fingerprinting and clearance through NYS Education Department; applicant pays $102 fingerprinting fee.
