Salary/Stipend: $2,200 (paid in March of 2026).

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Attend the annual coaching meeting at the start of school.
• Complete CPR training.
• Complete 5 online courses through NFHS.
• Complete SPV training.
• Carry out the program planned by the head coach, providing assistance as required and performing delegated duties.
• Ensure all practice sessions and competitions are free from harassment, hazing, or other conflict situations.

Requirements

• Completed background check and DCCS must be clear (completed upon hire).

• Promote the importance of excellence in the classroom and on athletic fields.
• Develop appropriate behavior at school, home, and the community.
• Instantiate respect for teammates, opponents, coaches, officials, families, and the community.
• Guide each athlete to achieve his/her potential.
• Develop an athlete’s ability to work as part of a team.
• Teach and develop fundamental skills in the sport the athlete chooses to participate in.
• Teach the rules of the game and expand each athlete’s knowledge of the sport.
• Provide opportunities to learn life-long health habits.
• Teach proper care of equipment, school property, and others’ property.
• Develop self-discipline.
