Job summary

The ideal candidate holds NFHS coaching certifications, passes a background check, and can organize camps and clinics while ensuring compliance with AIA bylaws. The role reports to the Athletic Director and contributes to program growth.

Qualifications

• NFHS concussion, coaching, bullying/hazing & inappropriate behaviors certifications completed.
• Head coaches must have NFHS sport-specific course and first aid.
• Must pass a background clearance and obtain Arizona IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Subject matter expertise in the sport and ability to evaluate new theories.

QUALIFICATIONS

2. NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching
3. NFHS Bullying, Hazing & Inappropriate Behaviors Course
4. Head Coaches must also have NFHS Sport-Specific Course and First Aid Course
5. Varsity coaching experience
6. Must pass a background clearance
7. Must obtain an Arizona IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
8. Must have substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport and examine new theories and procedures pertinent to the field.
