Brown University Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support patient care in Newport Hospital. Under RN supervision, you will help with personal care, mobility, and daily activities, ensuring adherence to hospital policies from admission through discharge.
You will document data in the EHR, recognize changes in patient status, and participate in infection control and safety protocols. The role requires RI NAC licensure and BLS certification, with a preference for one year of experience.
SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and within hospital and department policies and procedures, assists in caring for patients and/or families from admission to discharge. DEFINITION: A nursing assistant is a paraprofessional trained to provide personal care and related health care and assistance to individuals who are sick, disabled, or infirm, and who are residents of or receiving services from health care facilities or agencies licensed by the state and holds a license as a nursing assistant issued by the Department of Health. Pay Range: $18.00-$25.82

Work Type: 24 hours weekly, 7pm-7:30am, every other weekend OR every weekend (if preferred)
