Job summary

Ridwell is hiring in Los Angeles for a role combining driving routes with warehouse responsibilities. You will operate high‑roof cargo vans, complete 125–150 stops daily, and support loading, unloading, and customer service while transitioning to warehouse tasks as needed.

Starting wage is $22/hour with tenure-based increases and a $50/month cell phone stipend. 4 ten-hour shifts, Monday–Friday. Medical, vision, and dental benefits, commuter and other perks accompany full‑time employment.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older with a valid CA driver’s license for at least 3 years.
• Ability to read and follow written or oral instructions in English.
• Must pass a background and motor vehicle history check if offered the position.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Ridwell high‑roof cargo vans throughout the Los Angeles area.
• Complete assigned routes safely and efficiently, typically involving 125–150 residential service stops daily.
• Collect members’ materials from designated bins at their homes.
• Navigate routes effectively using the provided smartphone apps.
• Maintain regular communication with our dedicated Driver Support team regarding route timing.
• Manage loading and unloading of vehicles efficiently.
• Deliver Ridwell bins and new member kits to members’ homes.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with Ridwell members.
• Work safely outdoors and in all weather conditions, various temperature extremes.
• Transition between driving and warehouse responsibilities as needed.
• Follow all company policies and safety procedures consistently.
• Support additional operational needs as they arise.
• Maintain positive communication with team members across all functions.
• A smartphone is required for GPS navigation and route management (phone stipend provided).
• Ability to maintain consistent attendance – we count on each other to be here when scheduled so we can deliver excellent service as a team.

Schedule: (4) Ten-hour shifts - 6:30a-5p - Monday-Friday

• Ability to maintain consistent attendance – we count on each other to be here when scheduled so we can deliver excellent service as a team
• Must be 21 years or older with a valid CA driver’s license for at least 3 years
• Ability to read and follow written or oral instructions in English
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach, and lift up to 49 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Must own and be able to use a smartphone and Google or Apple maps
• Ability to communicate effectively digitally via text and email.
• Must pass a background and motor vehicle history check if offered the position.
