Job summary

Pratt Industries in La Vergne, TN is seeking a Class A CDL driver to join our recycling operation. You will drive a tractor-trailer, complete daily pickups and deliveries, and perform pre/post-trip inspections.

We offer stable work with home daily, good pay ($25/hr with OT) and full benefits. Safe driving record and DOT compliance required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience.
• Safe driving record.
• Ability to meet DOT requirements.
• Commitment to safety and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer.
• Complete daily pickups and deliveries.
• Perform DOT-required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Drop and hook trailers as needed.
• Ensure loads are properly secured and tarped when required.
• Communicate professionally with supervisors and dispatch regarding route status and service issues.
• Follow all DOT, company, and safety requirements.
