Job summary

Gordon Food Service Store LLC in Indianapolis is hiring a Van Delivery Driver to join our frontline logistics team. You will be responsible for courteous, on-time and accurate deliveries of products along a variable daily route, with a focus on customer satisfaction and safe driving.

Requirements include at least 1 year of delivery driving and a clean driving record, with physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs and handle up to 350 lb loads with equipment. Benefits and advancement available.

Qualifications

• 1 year of delivery driving experience preferred
• Unrestricted Standard Operator’s License required
• Clean driving record (no major offenses in last 5 years)
• Minimum age 18
• Pre-employment checks including drug screen and background check
• Must lift up to 70 lbs and handle loads up to 350 lbs with equipment

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate, on-time orders to Wholesale customers
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships
• Ensure timely deliveries and handle products with care
• Perform pre/post trip vehicle inspections
• Process customer purchases at point of sale and support store operations as needed
• Maintain security of assets (cash, checks, merchandise) following policies
